Before considering the provisions, it is important to note that the people, who breach the law, can be fined up to the amount of  £50.000. The Law interpret that if any crude oil, fuel oil, lubricating oil and heavy diesel oil spill out in the whole sea including the island waters, shore or any waters the person should be guilty of an offence under the application of the law. Moreover, if oil or a mixture there is abandoned in the sea, it will be an offence.
